Henderson Cougars, baby! Now a middle school, lol.

We had a guy in the 70's named Pete Ladd who had a decent major league career as a pitcher. HHS gradumatated a couple astronauts, too. And me - I played golf with Bobby Butler once.

Cross Keys High School

THE DeKalb County

Not sure of famous graduates. Don't really keep up with my distant past. I thought I heard there is a player in the NFL that went there, but I'm not 100% on that one.

East Coweta High School...population now approx 1500 students.

Famous (or infamous) grads include:

Keith Brooking (the bastard that stole MY name and number!)
Karsten Bailey (WR, Green Bay)
Chris Young (Safety, Denver)
Chris Hanson (P, Jacksonville)
John Keith (Safety, San Francisco)
Antoine Nolan (former starting CB, Auburn)

and...it was the graduating spot of a certain young lady that wawel got to play 6 degrees of sexual separation with (apparently wawel is now related to Keith Brooking because of this).

There's a blast from the past. Good old-school Mariner from when I was growing up. Long reliever in 1986, where he got 7 or 8 wins, I think. Solid pitcher for one of the worst years in Mariner history (which is saying something).

I thought he went to HS in Maine.

Torre Evans, former UGA linebacker.
Whit Marshall, former UGA linebacker (see a trend here?)
Spence Fischer, former Duke QB
George Lombard, MLB player and Braves draft bust.
Shaquille O'Neal...just kidding.

Hiram High School
Hiram, GA
Population - 2000
Graduating Class - 221

Famous Athletes - Only one...Trey Hines who is a redshirt freshman for Navy now. He is averaging close to 7 or 8 yards per carry this season for the Midshipmen. We are only a third year school, so famous people will come down the road. Look for Trevard Lindley and Antonio Sims to also make some noise in the recruiting world this season.

Also, we have a pitcher there now who has committed to play for the #1 ranked Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. He is the real deal and you will hear alot from him in the future.

- the boulder
