Thrashers Sign Pascal Rhéaume!

According to GM Rick Dudley, the Thrashers have signed forward Pascal Rhéaume to an incentive-laden 2-year contract! "We expect [Pascal] will be able to come in and compete for a position in our top 6", said Dudley. "Fans wondering how [the Thrashers] will fill the goal-scoring void left by Ilya Kovalchuk and Maxim Afinogenov need look no further", added Dudley. "It's not entirely unrealistic to think [Pascal] can light the lamp 25 to 30 times this season given the amount of minutes Coach Ramsay plans on giving him".

I think it can work! Discuss.

I was surprised at first, and then realised this post has to be a joke. I see that this post is a joke and that none of us need to respond further.

In a widely expected signing, shortly after injkinging Pascal Rheaume to fill their scoring needs, Rick Dudley, GM of the Atlanta Thrashers signed Rheaume's younger sister, Manon Rheaume. The younger Rheaume has a long history of providing quality tending at all levels of hickey, including earning a silver medal for Canada in the 1998 Olympics. "Manon is quite capable of pushing for a starting role on this club. I love her energy, enthusiasm and willingness to work hard. She looks great in goal!" said Dudley.
